Domba Wonosobo ditetapkan sebagai rumpun ternak lokal oleh Departemen Pertanian berdasarkan SK Menteri Pertanian Nomor 2915/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011 tentang Penetapan Rumpun Domba Wonosobo. Domba Wonosobo merupakan hasil persilangan antara domba texel yang didatangkan sejak tahun 1957 dengan domba ekor tipis dan atau domba ekor gemuk dan secara turun temurun dikembangkan masyarakat di wilayah Kabupaten Wonosobo. Dombos memiliki ciri pada bulu berupa wol halus sampai sedang yang menutupi sebagian besar permukaan tubuh, kecuali muka, perut bagian bawah, dan kaki (SK Mentan No. 2915/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011). Untuk lokasi pembibitan Domba Wonosobo berada di Desa Sendangsari, Kecamatan Garung, Kabupaten Wonosobo dengan jumlah Domba Wonosobo eksisting hingga saat ini kurang lebih sebanyak 2.000 domba.

The Wonosobo sheep has been designated as a local livestock breed by the Department of Agriculture based on the Minister of Agriculture's Decree No. 2915/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011 concerning the Designation of the Wonosobo Sheep Breed. The Wonosobo sheep is a crossbreed between Texel sheep, introduced since 1957, and thin-tailed or fat-tailed sheep, and has been developed by the community in Wonosobo Regency for generations. Dombos are characterized by their fine to medium wool that covers most of their body, except for the face, lower abdomen, and legs (SK Mentan No. 2915/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011). The breeding location for Wonosobo sheep is in Sendangsari Village, Garung District, Wonosobo Regency, with an existing population of approximately 2,000 sheep.

Domba Batur ditetapkan sebagai rumpun ternak lokal oleh Departemen Pertanian berdasarkan SK Menteri Pertanian Nomor 2916/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011 tentang Penetapan Rumpun Domba Batur. Domba Batur merupakan hasil persilangan antara domba merino dengan domba ekor tipis dengan sebaran asli geografis di Kecamatan Batur dan sekitarnya, yang secara turun-temurun dikembangkan masyarakat sejak tahun 1974 dan menjadi milik masyarakat Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Domba Batur memiliki ciri pada bulu berupa wol halus dan lebat yang hampir menutupi seluruh permukaan tubuh (SK Mentan No. 2916/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011). Pengembangan Domba Batur berada di Desa Batur, Kecamatan Batur, Kabupaten Banjarnegara dengan jumlah Domba Batur eksisting hingga saat ini kurang lebih sebanyak 2.000 domba.

The Batur sheep is a crossbreed between Merino sheep and thin-tailed sheep, with its original geographic distribution in Batur District and its surroundings, and has been developed by the community since 1974 and is owned by the community in Banjarnegara Regency. The Batur sheep is characterized by its fine and dense wool that covers almost the entire body surface (SK Mentan No. 2916/Kpts/OT.140/6/2011). The development of Batur sheep is centered in Batur Village, Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency, with an existing population of approximately 2,000 sheep.
